The mission of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research. The only way to achieve this goal is through research. Research is revolutionizing our understanding of cancer. Research is leading us to the core of this insidious disease. Research is transforming lives every day as women and men get the help they need. They believe research—and research alone—has the power to bring an end to cancer. They have more than 275 researchers urgently working on solutions to one of the world’s greatest problems.

Since their founding in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, BCRF has raised more than half a billion dollars for lifesaving research. Through a unique and streamlined grants program, they seek out the brightest minds in science and medicine and give them the necessary resources to pursue their best ideas. As a result, researchers are able to make discoveries and design new approaches to address all aspects of breast cancer—and do so in record time.

Breast cancer knows no age, gender, or race. As the most common cancer in women worldwide and the second most common cancer overall, it remains a fact of life. The thousands of women and men suffering from breast cancer today depend on us. No institution can conquer this disease alone. Together, we can. 

August Charity | Doctors Without Borders

This month, with your help, our members will be supporting Doctors Without Borders. 

ABOUT THE CHARITY

Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian organization founded in 1971. This charity is known to respond to emergencies around the world, saving and impacting lives daily. The funds allow the organization to impact those in need of help; they go where patients are. They generally work in conflict zones after natural disasters, epidemics, long-term care settings, and more. Funding is a crucial part of this charity as the crew works on so many projects worldwide, we want to help.

July Charity of the Month | SPCA International

We are so proud to announce last month our members raised donations for 6 different charities! With the efforts of their customers and patients checking-in, we are able to mail checks that will help make a difference! Check-in 4 Charity isn’t a program that is just about helping you grow your online presence, it’s also about helping those in need and giving back. This month, we are excited to announce the charity of the month is the SPCA International.

The SPCA International has a mission to improve the lives of animals around the world and advance the safety and well-being of animals. Support Those Who Serve | May Charity

This month our members are supporting the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is an amazing non-profit Check-in 4 Charity has had the privilege to benefit before. The mission of Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is to serve the United States military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation, and their families. 100% of donations to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund go directly to their programs and no portion of contributions is deducted for administrative costs.

Beginning in the year 200, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. The Fund has provided nearly $200 million for families of military personnel lost in service, and for wounded military personnel too.

March Charity | World Wildlife Fund

A new month means a new charity for our members to support! This March, our members are supporting the World Wildlife Fund. The World Wildlife Fund, or WWF, has been protecting the future of nature for over 50 years. This charity works in 100 countries to support over a million members in the US and almost 5 million members globally. The mission of the WWF is to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature to protect nature.

February Charity Of The Month | Make-A-Wish International

February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day, for our Check-in 4 Charity members, it’s also for Make-A-Wish International Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit founded in the United States that arranges experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions. These experiences range from meeting their most inspirational celebrity, going on a trip to Disneyland, or even being treated like a Superhero for a day. Any type of “wish” they child may have is what this foundation aims to provide. Granting wishes for these precious children enhances their life experience with hope, strength, love, and joy.

January Charity | UNICEF

Happy New Year everyone! We are so thrilled to start 2017 with new clients, new charities, and new goals for Check-in 4 Charity! Last year we launched our program in April and did not expect to have such an amazing amount of members so quickly; but we're so happy we did. This year, we are ready to take our program, and donations, to the next level! Now, for the charity of the month for January. This January our members are supporting UNICEF. UNICEF protects and defends the rights of every child. They are the world’s largest children’s organization, working with partners in 190 countries. UNICEF will do whatever it takes to protect children wherever they are and whoever they are. #foreverychild.
